Roy Inch & Sons General Manager Peter Inch wanted to help the people of Fort McMurray after the devastating wildfires caused them to evacuate their homes so he reached out to our Service Experts centers in Albert and they said the best way to help would be raising money and matching donations for the evacuees and victims of the wildfires.
So that’s just what Peter and his team did.
“We are overjoyed to be able to provide this money to the victims of the Fort McMurray wildfires,” said Peter after donating over $8200 to the Canadian Red Cross. “We always want to help our communities however we can.”
Anyone was allowed to come up to any Roy Inch & Sons Service Experts van and contribute any amount they could and Roy Inch & Sons would fully match the donation.
“The outpouring of support was incredible. Even in this terrible time, everyone was brought together to try and bring hope to the people of Fort McMurray.”
Below you can hear Peter discussing the fundraiser on his radio show, Inch by Inch.
