When he felt he was uncertain about the thermostat he sent Gerald a very tech Savey person to come to sync the smart thermostat to the Furnance . the smart key pad wasnt hooked up properly to the Furnance. We were pleased to finally get all the issues resolved by these 2 men. I have rated the 2 other questions lower then Id like to but thats due to the mind confusion we felt about all being equipment purchased with D And K and poor installation. Had I not noticed the humidifier leak and other things like the lights not going on when I pressed them to do air exchange in house I wouldnt have mentioned it to Mike and shown him. We were just left with a lot of questions re big purchases. But at this time it seems like Mike and Gerald have come to the rescue and this was 6 months after the installation that I really was noticing issues."

When i signed the contract with the salesman, i made it clear to install the new AC back on the brackets. I assumed the techs installing the furnace and the AC knew about it but about an 1:30 min into the installation, i took a look and the AC was installed on the ground. I immediately informed the tech that the AC needed to be mounted back on the brackets. He was pissed off that the information had not been passed down to him. The AC was relocated on the brackets but his attitude at the time did not impressed me. The other tech working on the furnace was professional and had a good understanding of how the thermostat worked. A better clean up of the furnace room should have been carried out, metal screws were found on the ground, insulation pieces were not reinstalled and i can see day light were the white exhaust pipe goes thru the wall."

At this point in time I am EXTREMELY disappointed that Enercare has taken over D & K and laid off the office staff at the Belleville Office. I know a lot of people in this area are quite upset. When I called D & K I spoke to a human being immediately. I tried to call Enercare on Friday and spent 10 minutes on the phone then got disconnected. I called back and again put on hold. Phone rang and again put on hold. Happened at least three times. Anyhow I spent over 20 minutes trying to contact Enercare and finally gave up. At this point in time I am very hesitant in using Enercare as my provider. They are a big Toronto Company and don't give a Rat's rear about smaller cities. I lost my D & K warranty on my furnace which I am not happy about. I looked at the expensive Enercare warranties and am not impressed. I read the Terms and Conditions from start to finish and a person would have to have rocks in their head to sign it. On my Street alone I recommended D & K to numerous home owners who replaced their furnaces with D & K. Anyhow, Josh is a great Technician, and a great asset to your company. Not sure I will be using Enercare though. Re: answers below. I would continue using D & K but not sold on enercare."
